Fees & engagement terms
Indicative ranges for market entry consulting. Final fees follow a discovery call and written scope.
We price by engagement, not by subscription. Most work is a fixed fee agreed after we understand category complexity, regions in scope, and interview load. The figures below are indicative for planning conversations.
| Consultation | Indicative fee (NZD) | Basis |
|---|---|---|
| Market Feasibility Assessment | From $12,000 | Fixed project fee, 3–5 weeks |
| NZ Market Entry Advisory | From $38,000 | Fixed engagement fee, 6–12 weeks |
| Regional Expansion Planning | From $22,000 | Fixed engagement fee, 4–7 weeks |
| Partner Introduction & Soft Landing | From $9,500 / month or packaged | Retainer or fixed package |
| Discovery call (60 minutes) | No charge | To determine fit and scope |
What moves a quote up or down
- Number of product lines or customer segments under review
- Regions beyond Auckland that require travel and local interviews
- Need for bilingual materials or specialised industry access
- Compressed timelines that require parallel research streams
- Board or investor briefing sessions beyond the standard close-out
What is not billed as consulting
Statutory legal, tax, immigration, and accounting work sit with your appointed professionals. We can recommend firms we have worked alongside, but those fees are separate.
Deposits and invoicing
Engagements typically require a 40% deposit to reserve the start date, with the balance on delivery of the agreed memo or at monthly retainer intervals. See our refund policy for cancellation and rescheduling terms.
Next step
Request a briefing with the consultation you have in mind and the market or region in focus. We confirm indicative fees in writing before any work begins.
